Yep, we have one -- it's the very same as the one of the site, so here we go!

One of the things we love the most about running the site is getting to talk with so many people from so many different gaming backgrounds. We're all brought here because of our love for massively multiplayer games, and we all want to discuss the latest news. But many of us will have differing opinions from time to time, and sometimes our expression of those opinions can get out of hand. Massively's staff isn't interested in keeping you from airing your opinions -- we welcome them.

However, in order to create a welcoming environment for everyone to discuss games, we have to enforce a few rules. Many of these rules are simply common sense, and none of them will interfere with you telling us that you hate or love the MMO of the month -- that's not at all our objective. These rules are easy, straightforward, and sensible. Many of you will never even have to worry about them!

Keep it clean.
We can be passionate without resorting to using foul language, profanity, hate speech, and derogatory language.

Keep it E for Everyone.
We have a wide variety of people who read this site, and we need to keep things tidy. No personal attacks. Sometimes we have disagreements. It happens. But it's never necessary to attack others over their opinions, whatever they may be. Argue against points, not people, and keep your comments to the topic of discussion and don't attack your fellow commenters or the staff. They will show you the same courtesy when they disagree with you.

Don't flamebait.
Don't lure others into a war of words with a hyperbolic statement or intentionally antagonize another reader. Discussion and debate over a subject is fine, but keep it civil and don't try to elicit a response from someone else.

Don't troll.
Trolling a thread with inane or off-topic statements isn't welcome. Keep your responses on topic or related to the game discussed in the post.

Don't spam.
Do not spam the site with any sort of advertising or repetitive posts. Spammers get the banhammer!

Don't do anything illegal.
Don't infringe copyrights. Don't discuss or link to emulators or other illegal servers. Don't threaten other posters. You get the idea.

If you see a comment that you think breaks the code of conduct, simply press the "report" button. If your post breaks our code of conduct, we may edit your comment to remove the offending material, delete the entire statement, or in the worst-case scenario, remove your account from the site altogether. We don't like doing these things, so please help us out by simply using your common sense and following the above rules. With your cooperation, we can create a more open, productive environment in which everyone can speak his mind. Thanks, readers, and welcome to the forums!
